The Inquiry Secretariat
As Secretary, Lee Hughes CBE is the person appointed by the Chairman to carry out the administration and management of the Inquiry.
Lee is supported by a small team of administrators responsible for administration, finance, operations and the Inquiry's public profile.
The Secretariat's responsibilities include:
- Finance and expenditure
- Accommodation for the Inquiry team and hearings
- Staffing the Inquiry team
- The public face of the Inquiry, including this website
- Environmental, safety and security issues
- Records management and public correspondence
